We are a small family farm in Ahualoa on the Big Island of Hawaii. We have market, Tea and Spice Gardens at 2500ft in Ahualoa.
We typically sell our produce each week at the Hamakua Harvest Farmers market in Honokaa on Sundays and through the Kohala Food Hub’s online marketplace. Occasionally we miss a week at the market and our some of our produce, biochar and cinnamon will also be available through the Hamakua Ag Cooperative’s booth at the Farmers Market.
We are also offering online ordering for delivery to our immediate community and neighbors in Ahualoa and Honokaa.
We think of our farm and land as an ecosytem and do our best to maintain its health with minimal inputs, crop rotation, cover crops and diversity.
Our produce and tea are grown using sustainable and organic methods. We source as many of inputs on farm and locally as possible, these include biochar and compost. Any fertilizer we purchase is OMRI certified. We occasionally need to use an OMRI certified method to control some pests or fungus but do so sparingly. Typically only our screenhouse crops (tomatoes and cucumbers) receive these treatments if needed.
